Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II Territory (Float) for Dearborn, MI. The role involves travel within the assigned territory to collect specimens, ensuring accurate patient identification and adherence to testing protocols.

You will work independently with low error rates and handle diverse collections across PSCs, client offices, and other sites. The position requires two years of phlebotomy experience and certification in certain states, with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• English required

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws, including difficult collections.
• Verify patient identification and labeling integrity; enter data as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling and processing.
• Provide professional, courteous service to patients and clients; communicate clearly.
• Travel across PSCs and Client Offices within territory; maintain valid driver license and travel readiness.
