Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist III to cover a Fairfax, VA territory, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends. Travel within the territory to PSCs, IOPs, and other sites for accurate specimen collection and patient identification.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred in certain states.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures (venipuncture and capillary draws).
• Obtain patient identification and verify labeling accuracy; perform data entry as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storage.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
