Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist III to travel within the assigned territory, performing venipuncture and complex collections while ensuring accurate patient identification and data entry. This role supports PSCs, Client Offices, and other sites with a focus on quality lab results.

Applicants need three years of phlebotomy experience and a phlebotomy certification in required states; travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• English required.

Responsabilités

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures for a variety of tests, including venipuncture and capillary draws, with ability to handle difficult draws.
• Obtain patient identification and signatures to confirm specimen labeling accuracy; perform data entry as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and storage as required by test order.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify all orders using lab systems.
