Comparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual Company, seeks a Regional Small Commercial Sales Manager to lead, coach, and grow a high-performing team of small commercial producers across multiple states.

You will drive regional sales, retention and customer satisfaction by developing agents, strengthening carrier partnerships, and championing operational excellence in sales and service delivery, with strong leadership impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of commercial lines products and services; prior sales or related experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, negotiation and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities with analytical skills.
• Current state license in property, casualty and life insurance or ability to obtain.
• Experience in supervision is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of small commercial producers to meet new-business, retention, premium growth and profitability goals.
• Provide strategic guidance to expand and optimize the agency, identifying and evaluating new market opportunities.
• Support agents through the sales cycle: advise on policy types, renewals, changes and complex submissions.
• Drive new business development by coaching agents on lead follow-up, cross-selling and referrals.
• Act as liaison among agents, clients and internal teams for clear communication and issue resolution.
• Maintain carrier relationships with Relationship Managers to enhance access and service.
• Oversee local marketing and community networking to ensure market penetration.
• Ensure high service levels and accountability for SLAs, recruit and staff as needed.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide data-driven coaching and action plans.
• Mentor and provide ongoing feedback for career development and goal attainment.
• Stay current on small commercial trends, products and regulatory changes.
