Job summary

Chesapeake Plywood is seeking a territory sales representative to own a defined patch and build real relationships with customers. You will hunt for new business, operate as the trusted advisor to contractors, fabricators, and production managers, and travel as needed to cover multiple states.

You will join a sales team with a structured playbook and coaching system designed to help you succeed, with onboarding milestones and clear progression paths as you grow your career within the company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in B2B territory or field sales
• Proven ability to develop new business and build a pipeline
• Comfortable calling on trade and commercial buyers
• Self-managed with structured weekly routines
• Resilient and persistent after setbacks
• Strong tenure history with logical reasons for moves

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a defined territory (MD, VA, PA, NJ, DE) and hit sales targets
• Develop and execute a proactive outbound selling plan with 15+ calls daily
• Build and nurture relationships with contractors, fabricators, and production managers
• Develop annual sales plan and provide market intelligence weekly
• Attend team meetings and 1:1 coaching sessions
