Job summary

Leopardo Companies is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead Tenant Interiors projects in the Greater Chicagoland Area. You will provide on-site leadership, supervise field operations, coordinate self-perform trades, and manage safety, quality, and costs to meet schedule targets.

The role requires deep construction knowledge, strong client and stakeholder relationships, and the ability to mentor junior staff. A Bachelor’s degree and extensive supervisory experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or architecture related fields or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum of ten years supervisory experience in progressively responsible roles with extensive experience in building construction trades; minimum 15 years of construction experience.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, reading blueprints and understanding construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for on-site field administration, supervision and technical management to meet schedule and budget.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and manage safety, quality, and cost control.
• Mentor, train and guide less-senior field staff and interns; lead pre/post construction meetings and ensure proper documentation.
