Job summary

Leopardo Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for large-scale Tenant Interiors projects in the Greater Chicagoland Area.

You will manage the day-to-day field administration, supervise foremen and interns, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project goals, budget, and schedule are met while upholding safety and quality. The role includes mentoring staff and engaging with clients and design teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or architecture related fields strongly preferred or equivalent training.
• Extensive supervisory experience on large/complex projects; 15 years construction experience minimum.
• Solid understanding of scheduling, cost control, blueprints and construction tech.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site efforts to meet design, budget, schedule, safety and quality goals.
• Coordinate work of Leopardo Foreman and self-perform employees; monitor costs vs. budget.
• Coordinate daily subcontractor activities and track subcontracts, insurance.
• Develop and monitor project schedules; create look-ahead schedules and forecast manpower.
• Develop project safety and quality plans; conduct daily site walks and audits.
• Lead pre-/weekly/post construction meetings; document minutes.
