Job summary

Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Tenant Coordination, based at Westfield Fashion Square or Culver City. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years in tenant coordination, construction management, or retail development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or multi-asset role.
• Strong background managing national tenants and small shop/restaurant operators.
• Knowledge of retail design standards, construction processes, lease agreements, and tenant fit-out requirements.
• Experience in CAD programs and PC programs (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, Word, and Excel).
• Strong technical skills in reviewing MEPS (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Systems).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tenant coordination function for a designated shopping center from design review through store opening.
• Provide direction to tenants, tenant architects/engineers, and tenant contractors on design, scheduling, coordination, and construction execution.
• Oversee construction schedules, milestone tracking, and coordinate with leasing, operations, design, and legal teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, ensuring timely communication and resolution of design or construction issues.
• Communicate and negotiate with local jurisdictions on tenant permit submissions, planning, and approval procedures.
• Develop scopes of work and negotiate agreements with consultants, vendors, and general contractors.
• Review base building design and construction documents for tenant-related utilities.
• Partner with Retail Design Management on tenant design challenges and scope-of-work issues.
• Provide follow-up and guidance in maintaining Lease Plans with Retail Plan Management.
• Collaborate with Shopping Center Management to verify onsite conditions to expedite design and construction.
• Inspect and validate accuracy of drawings, including A2’s, Lease Plans, and Development Plans.
• Conduct field inspections and hold regular meetings with tenants and base building contractors.
