Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Level Cyber Systems Engineer (TEMPEST) in Melbourne, FL, to lead TEMPEST and EMI/EMC design and testing. You will decompose requirements, develop subsystem-level specifications, and support design reviews, with heavy emphasis on E3IAR and test documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or higher degree with substantial relevant experience, TEMPEST certification, and an active Secret or higher clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree with 12+ years of relevant military/professional experience, or a higher degree with commensurate experience.
• Must be TEMPEST Professional Level II, or Level I with a path to Level II certification.
• Experience with TEMPEST and EMI/EMC design, and system-level integration (bonding, grounding, shielding, filtering).
• Active US Government Secret or higher clearance, with BI in last 6 years or Continuous Evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level decomposition of TEMPEST or EMI/EMC requirements.
• Develop TEMPEST or EMI/EMC design requirements at subsystem level.
• Provide support to the Design review process.
• Support hardware design engineering to ensure TEMPEST/EMC compliance.
• Contribute to TEMPEST Control Plan and E3IAR, verification procedures and reports.
• Author TEMPEST test plans, procedures, and reports.
