Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Staff Level Cyber Systems Engineer (Certified TEMPEST Professional Level I/II) to join our Systems Engineering team in Melbourne, FL. The role focuses on System Security Engineering, TEMPEST and EMI/EMC design, and E3 activities within aerospace ground control systems.

Required is active US Government Secret clearance or higher, TEMPEST experience, and the ability to obtain SAP clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 12+ years of military/professional experience, or 16 years with a HS diploma in lieu of degree.
• TEMPEST Professional Level II, or Level I with ability to achieve Level II in time.
• Experience with TEMPEST/EMI/EMC design and system-level integration (bonding, grounding, shielding, filtering).
• Experience with TEMPEST standards NSTISSAM TEMPEST/1-92, CNSSAM TEMPEST 01-02, NSA memorandums

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level decomposition of TEMPEST or EMI/EMC requirements.
• Develop TEMPEST/EMI design requirements at subsystem level.
• Support hardware design to ensure TEMPEST/EMC compliance.
• Prepare TEMPEST test plans and related reports.
• Mentor TEMPEST trainees in support of Certification.
