Job summary

RTX is seeking experienced electronics engineers for the Hardware Electrical Engineering Team in Tucson. The role focuses on design, analysis, simulation and testing of analog and mixed-signal circuitry for circuit cards, including PCB-level work and REA responsibilities.

Qualified candidates have a STEM degree, 5+ years of relevant experience (or 3+ with advanced degree), and hands-on experience with analog design and MATLAB/MathCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years' experience.
• Experience with electronics design for systems/subsystems.
• Experience creating electrical design specifications.
• Experience with analog electronics design (FETs, BJTs, op-amps, filters, termination).
• Experience with MATLAB/MathCAD or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and mixed-signal electronics circuitry.
• Assist in designing electronics at subsystem or PCB level.
• Guide PCB development through its design phases from requirements through testing.
• Be the Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) for FTS and/or TM designs.
• Generate and compile analysis and documentation to verify compliance with requirements.
