Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in the telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of category rated testers (Cat 3/5/5e/6) and fiber optic requirements.
• Ability to read and decipher scopes of work.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install cable support systems in new or existing buildings.
• Establish cable pathways per industry standards.
• Terminate and test copper voice/data cables.
• Install, terminate, test and troubleshoot fiber optic cable.
• Train and direct Technicians and Technician Helpers.
• Prepare and maintain daily job journals and required documentation.
• Manage location schedules and work timing.
• Collaborate with Manager and Customer on project planning.
• Clean up work site daily.
• Ensure safety regulations compliance.
