Idaho Power Company, located in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Telecommunications System Administrator or Senior to join our IT team. The role offers up to 40% remote work weekly with flexible schedules, while based at our downtown Boise location.

The position supports voice tech platforms, cloud SaaS services, and monitoring systems in a critical utility setting. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of technology administration and 5+ years for the senior role, with Cisco Call Manager and Webex Calling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of professional technology administration experience for Senior role; 2+ years for the base role.
• Cisco CCNA Collaboration certification preferred.
• Experience with voice-related technology administration is a plus.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license; Cisco CCNA Collaboration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, install, configure, upgrade, test, document, monitor and maintain voice tech software/hardware.
• Support cloud-based telecom services and voice gateways.
• Provide advanced level troubleshooting, performance, security and licensing analysis.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and contribute to technology strategy.
