Job summary

Idaho Power Company is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst (or Senior) to lead ERP module functionality, oversee nightly and monthly closing processes, and collaborate with Finance and IT to optimize system integrations.

The role blends accounting expertise with IT knowledge, offering flexible schedules and up to 40% remote work from Boise, ID. Ideal candidates have ERP, reporting, and analytical skills for enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, information technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance related field including a minimum of 2 years of experience working in financial system ERP products or acting as a liaison between the business and IT.
• Preferred: User and analyst-level technical expertise in PeopleSoft
• Preferred: General accounting in a corporate environment
• Preferred: Utility accounting or finance experience
• Preferred: Technical support experience
• Preferred: Writing reports using system report writers such as Crystal Reports and Oracle based SQL

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional lead for assigned ERP modules (e.g., PeopleSoft/Asset Suite).
• Test and implement new functionality to ensure integrations perform as intended.
• Manage periodic closing processes and perform journal entries, account analyses, and reconciliations.
• Advise leadership on system capabilities, risks, controls, and optimization opportunities.
