Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-2 years of progressive work experience in Technical Operations at Technician II level (typical).
• 3-5 years experience substitution available per agency rules.
• Valid driver's license and General Radio Operators License (GROL) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Configure equipment to meet customer requirements and troubleshoot connectivity.
• Advise WyoLink user agencies on needs and policies.
• Monitor system performance with specialized network tools to ensure service levels.
• Respond to alarms and resolve trouble reports; on-call rotation.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of WyoLink subsystems and contractor work.
• Use IP Configuration and system admin tools to optimize servers, routers, and gateways.
• Provide reports showing system availability and usage to the Support Manager.
• Collaborate with the WyoLink team to gain expertise across all aspects of the system.
• Manage WYDOT mass notification and alert messaging.
