Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Telecommunication Design Engineer within the Enterprise Technology division. The role delivers a wide range of products and services and partners with all lines of business to provide high quality service delivery, exceptional project execution, and cost-effective processes.

The candidate will manage all design-to-close-out deliverables, including bid, level, shop drawings, submittals, mock-ups and site walkthroughs.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Infrastructure structured cabling engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience in designing structured cabling systems with emphasis on trading floors, call centers, lock box, childcare, security operation centers, multimedia studios, control spaces and user fit-out spaces.
• Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Self-starter capable of independently developing processes and tools.
• Skilled at building consensus and driving organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate experience developing solutions aligned with business requirements using standards, templates, systems and artifacts.
• Communicate structured cabling standards and translate business needs into technology requirements; participate in interviews and discovery with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to design and implement cabling infrastructure aligned to roadmaps.
• Interface with contractors, engineering firms, telecom, and AV/security integrators; oversee activities and resolve site issues.
• Knowledgeable in construction milestones, scheduling and real estate-driven builds; provide QA throughout lifecycle; on-site walk-throughs and turnover milestones.
• Assemble documents, create budgets and estimates; understanding project delivery lifecycle, testing, risk assessment and validation.
• Prepare coordinated drawings and specifications; layouts, elevations, wiring schematics and schedules; multi-vendor cabling experience; establish/testing aligned to industry practices.
• Maintain policies on service delivery, asset tracking, inventories, chargeback, documentation and related systems.
• Excellent client interfacing, verbal and written communication; work across management levels and time zones.
• Applies AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options with traceability, resiliency and security.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation with data sensitivity awareness.
