Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer - Telecommunication Design Engineer to advance cabling infrastructure with a focus on business alignment, safety, and high-quality delivery.

You will partner with multiple lines of business to ensure cost-effective, scalable results and drive project execution from design through turnover. The role requires collaboration with general contractors, engineering teams, and vendors, with up to 20% travel within the US.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Infrastructure structured cabling engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied experience in cabling design for complex environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder influence abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate telecommunication cabling infrastructure across projects.
• Translate business needs into functional tech requirements and lead interviews with stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor activities and ensure alignment with roadmaps and schedules.
• Develop budgets, estimates, and project deliverables; manage lifecycle and QA.
• Prepare drawings and specifications for multi-vendor cabling, hardware, and power solutions.
