Job summary

UniTek GS in Houston seeks an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee telecommunications construction operations and financial performance. You will liaise with the project manager, lead field crews, and ensure optimal tools, equipment, and materials are available.

The role requires strategic planning, strong data analysis, and the ability to drive improvements across procedures and procurement while enforcing safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecommunications construction experience.
• Candidate must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug testing and random drug screening.
• Must have a basic command of the English language to understand the safety requirements of the position

Responsibilities

• Liaise with project manager to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals/objectives and lead performance to meet said goals/objectives.
• Train and lead field crews and technicians to gain efficient performance.
• Identify and develop new revenue opportunities.
• Ensure that crews have the best tools, equipment, and materials to perform the job.
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress.
• Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements both on an on-going basis and at completion.
• Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and metrics.
• Supervise, mentor, motivate and support staff and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage procurement processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.
• Manage relationships/agreements with stakeholders, external partners/vendors.
• Enforce all Safety and CORP policies and procedures.
• Work as part of one UniTek GS, supporting and protecting the brand value.
