Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Telecommunications BIM Designer to lead telecom design and BIM modeling on advanced facilities projects in a hybrid, geographically flexible U.S. role.

You’ll apply Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD to develop documentation, while collaborating with telecom leads and BIM designers to ensure Jacobs and client standards are met. Eight+ years of Revit BIM design and strong communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of Revit BIM design experience.
• Proficiency with NavisWorks.
• Experience with telecommunications systems design and construction.
• Understanding of how codes and standards shape design decisions.
• Familiarity with client design and modeling standards.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar markup software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document telecom designs and BIM models for complex facilities.
• Collaborate with telecom discipline leads and BIM designers.
• Ensure designs comply with Jacobs and client BIM standards.
• Provide design and modeling services for telecom projects.
• Assist in estimating design hours based on markups.
