Job summary

Planters Telephone Cooperative in Georgia seeks an experienced controller to lead our accounting team and strengthen the financial future of our locally rooted telecommunications cooperative. Reporting to the CFO, the controller will oversee financial reporting, general ledger operations, telecom revenue cycles, internal controls and regulatory compliance.

This leader will also develop the accounting team and provide timely financial insights that support executive decision-making and continued

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
• Accounting management experience in telecommunications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and FCC Part 32 accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills; NISC experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and general ledger operations.
