Job summary

Rally Networks seeks an experienced Corporate Controller to safeguard assets, enforce internal controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting during rapid network expansion. The role emphasizes telecom accounting, CAPEX tracking for fiber builds, grant reporting, and complex revenue recognition.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader bridging day-to-day accounting with strategic financial management, with CPA preferred and 8–10 years of relevant experience in telecom-related industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, incl. 3+ years in a Controller/Asst Controller role.
• Experience in telecommunications, broadband, ISP, or heavy infrastructure industries required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Lead month-, quarter-, and year-end close with accurate financial statements and dashboards for executives.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls over revenue, costs, and program budgets.
• Capex tracking for large-scale fiber/infrastructure deployments and capitalization of labor, materials, and overhead.
• Oversee grant accounting for BEAD/USDA ARPA grants and ensure compliance.
• Manage revenue recognition for subscription-based services, installation fees, and leases.
• Collaborate with external tax advisors on corporate taxes and telecom taxes; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Audit support and leadership, including coordinating external audits; mentor and lead accounting team.
• Evaluate, upgrade, and optimize ERP systems and telecom billing integrations for ISP operations.
