Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Technology Support III to manage a complex suite of applications used by the Securities Services division. You will resolve production issues on Linux/RDBMS platforms and support on-premises and AWS deployments.

The role requires familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Datadog, plus schedulers like Control-M or AutoSys. Collaboration with development and infrastructure teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux, AWS and relational databases in production environments.
• Proficient in Python or shell scripting to automate tasks.
• Familiar with RDBMS such as Oracle or MS-SQL and monitoring/observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Resolve user and production issues on the Production instance.
• Maintain Linux/RDBMS based apps on On-Prem and AWS platforms.
• Monitor batch jobs scheduled with Control-M or AutoSys.
• Use monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace) to ensure performance and reliability.
• Coordinate deployments into Production and support release management.
• Develop domain knowledge and share it with the team and partners.
• Lead major production incidents with cross-team collaboration.
• Improve system quality and service to increase business value.
• Adopt a DevOps mindset to build, evolve, and operate scalable systems.
• Manage relationships with operational users and technology teams; participate in weekly service reviews.
