Job summary

BDO USA in New York seeks an Assurance Experienced Senior, Technology Risk Assurance to lead IS audit planning, testing, and analysis across diverse technology environments. You will document controls, perform CAATs when applicable, and coordinate with clients to strengthen security and compliance frameworks.

The role requires several years in information systems auditing, strong communication, and leadership capabilities, with CPA/CISA/CISSP/CFE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems is required.
• Masters in Information Systems or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
• CPA, CISA, CISSP and/or CFE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents and tests application and automated controls across software packages.
• Prepares audit reports and recommendations.
• Identifies opportunities to use CAATs and manages implementation.
• Participates in Sarbanes-Oxley control reviews.
• Communicates with client areas to strengthen controls and mitigate risks.
• Plans and executes IS audit work on engagements.
• Develops and maintains client relationships.
• Supervises IS Assurance Associates and provides feedback.
