Job summary

Primrose School Franchising seeks a Senior Manager, Technology Operations to oversee the stability, security, and scalability of our technology environment across a 567‑school network. You will lead the CAB, manage the help desk, and own infrastructure, security, and vendor performance while translating technical risk for non-technical stakeholders.

This is a full‑time role with flexible work-from-home options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 3 years in a senior operations management role.
• Experience owning infrastructure, security, help desk, and vendor management simultaneously.
• Hands-on experience leading a CAB or formal change management process.
• Strong communication skills to explain technology risk and performance to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience managing and developing small-to-midsize IT teams.
• Experience with IT budget development and management.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, reliability, and performance of corporate IT infrastructure including network, cloud, endpoint, and telecommunications environments.
• Lead capacity planning, lifecycle management, and refresh planning for hardware and software assets.
• Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning, documentation, and testing.
• Coordinate NSO tech readiness for new school openings and ensure day-one operations.
• Own the corporate cybersecurity program including 24/7 SOC monitoring, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and training.
• Maintain the IT risk register and ensure controls meet audit requirements.
• Lead incident response coordination and post-incident reviews.
• Chair the CAB process end-to-end and manage change risks.
• Translate technology operations performance and risk into executive reporting.
• Manage vendor relationships and conduct quarterly business reviews.
