You will partner with Product Owners, Architects, and SMEs to design and deliver AI-assisted, reliable applications. Remote work, strong emphasis on code quality, architecture reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Business Technology Opportunity: Senior Technology Lead

iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Business Technologyteam. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (A/E/C) industry.

This shared-services company supports the IMI business units and provides a uniform, employee-based culture founded on our Support the Build mentality. We are currently looking for a Senior Technology Lead to join our Business Technology team located remotely. Our ideal candidate for a Senior Technology Lead is someone who has 8+ years of experience and will bethe daily technical partner with Mechanical Estimators, Mechanical Project Managers, and other Product Owners across IMI Companies, collaboratively co-designing ideas and developing them into applications.

Primary responsibilities for iSuite’s Senior Technology Leadin clude:

Design user-friendly applications, with the help of AI-driven tools where necessary, that solve real problems for teams across IMI Companies.

Build applications that meet stringent requirements for accuracy and reliability for teams in the office and in the field. You’ll use tools like Claude Code to accelerate delivery while maintaining test coverage and code review standards.

Ship products that are reliable in production, resilient to unreliable network conditions, and responsibly designed, using AI where necessary and deterministic outcomes when possible.

Mentor new software developers as they come on board, reviewing code and application design.

Help set the technical standards the team builds to: correctness, AI-assisted development, testing, code reviews, documentation, etc.

Surface roadmap and prioritization tradeoffs for interdependent work to the Director of Software Development and our Delivery counterparts.

Partner with business stakeholders across Estimating, Engineering, Fabrication, and Field Ops to define problems and design and develop elegant solutions.

Partner with the architecture team on the underlying architecture supporting applications across the business by bringing requirements and feedback from individual projects.

Partner with the rest of the Business Technology team on roadmap, interdependent projects, and areas of efficiency.

Primary qualifications for iS uite’s Senior Technology Lead include:

Required

8+ years in software development and/or technical leadership, with a track record of owning production applications.

Deep hands-on experience building production applications without the use of LLMs.

Experience building and maintaining applications using AI-assisted development tools.

History of partnering with Product Owners or Business Stakeholders to design a solution that resolves a root ‘why.’

A track record of raising the bar on software development standards that a team builds to, while staying hands-on in the code. For example, you may have introduced code reviews, a testing requirement, or architectural reviews to a team.

Extensive experience with at least one back-end scripting language, front-end framework like React, and a relational database like Postgres.

Preferred

Experience with Python, Django, Go, Postgres, React, GCP, and Azure.

Experience with multi-agent orchestration using tools like Conductor or Herdr.

Background in construction, fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering services, or with systems like Vista, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Salesforce, or Primavera P6.

Experience operating as a hands-on software architect or Tech Lead.
