Job summary

CBTS in the United States seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, client-facing technology engagements within our Professional Services organization.

This role goes beyond scheduling and status reporting, owning delivery outcomes, building trusted client relationships, anticipating challenges, and balancing customer commitments with financial and operational performance across cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive project or program management experience, including leadership of complex technology initiatives.
• Experience leading client-facing technology engagements in professional services, consulting, or managed technology environments.
• Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, scope changes, and commercial delivery commitments.
• Strong understanding of technology delivery lifecycles, dependencies, and cross-functional execution.
• Ability to independently manage ambiguity, assess risks, and drive outcomes.
• Proven ability to influence technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches based on project needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex delivery issues into clear business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own outcomes and lead complex technology engagements from initiation through delivery, acceptance, and closure.
• Establish scope, deliverables, milestones, success criteria, and accountability across project teams.
• Develop and maintain practical delivery plans based on project size, complexity, and risk.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges early and drive resolution.
• Take ownership when projects go off track and lead recovery and trade-off discussions.
• Ensure accurate forecasts and status reporting for stakeholders.
• Manage project financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and margins.
• Identify scope changes and commercial risks and align with change control and customers.
