Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) in Norfolk, VA, seeks a Sr. Technology Advantage Analyst to provide onsite support and help advance NATO capability development.

You will analyze Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs) and map them to Warfighter needs, contributing to the TA Vision and Action Plan. The role requires 4+ years of related experience (or 6+ years without a degree), a NATO or national security clearance, and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, or a closely related discipline; 4+ years post-degree experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of extensive and progressively responsible experience.
• Experience with NATO or national security information sources is preferred.
• Ability to interpret future S&T and EDT information for military applications.
• Proficient with PC office automation and internet research resources.
• Active NATO or National Secret clearance.
• Proficient English (STANAG 6001 SLP 3333).
• Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and catalog Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs).
• Contribute to development of Technology Advantage (TA) and update TA Vision documents.
• Assist in defining Initial Operating Capability (IOC) and Final Operating Capability (FOC).
• Support TA Community of Interest with stakeholders across NATO and external groups.
• Provide TA Project Manager with timely analyses, reports, and deliverables.
• Coordinate TA activities with related projects, initiatives, and experiments.
