Job summary

NextGen Security LLC is seeking an experienced electronic security installation technician to join our fast-growing team in Charlotte, NC. You will handle field projects, program systems, activate and commission installations, and service high-end integrated devices.

Candidates should have 5+ years of installing and maintaining enterprise access control and video management systems, solid networking/IT knowledge, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years installing and maintaining enterprise security systems.
• Experience with access control and video management systems.
• Strong Networking/IT knowledge.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Familiarity with security codes and industry standards.
• Ability to pass background check.

We are seeking an experienced electronic securityinstallationtechnician to join ourfast growingand dynamic team.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

This position will have multiple roles ranging from:project oversight in the field, system programming, project activation and commissioning, installationof field devices, andmost importantly,servicing ofhigh-end integrated security devices.Some travel may berequired.

What you bring to the table:

Minimumof5yearsofexperience with installing andmaintaining:

• Enterprise-level access control systems
• Enterprise-level video management systems
• Networkingand IT knowledge.
• Superiorproblem solvingandcommunication skills(with both internal employees and external customers)
• Workindependently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarizationwith local electronicsecuritycodesand industry standards.
• Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.
• Ability to safelyoperatea company vehicle.
• Willingness to train entry-level technicians on processes and procedures.
• Ability to climb a ladder and safelyoperatea bucket truck.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, MSProjectand other Microsoft products.
• Ability to pass background check for state security licensing requirements

Preferred

• Access ControlSystemVendor Certifications in Software House,Genetec,ProWatch and/or Lenel.
• Video ManagementSystemVendor Certifications inGenetec,OnSSI,MaxPro,Avigilon,and/or Milestone.
• Experience incomputer operating systems,networkdesignand implementation.
• TWIC Cardholder.
