Job summary

NextGen Security is seeking an electronic security installation technician to join our growing team. This entry-level role trains locally in Exton, PA, then may travel nationwide to install and service access control, IDS, and video management systems.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in security installation or a technical/electrical background, and an associate or bachelor’s in electronics. We offer full benefits, a company vehicle, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of installation experience in security industry or technical/electrical background.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain enterprise-level access control systems.
• Install IDS (fiber and copper) and IP-based video management systems.
• Apply networking and IT knowledge in site deployments.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Follow local electronic security codes and industry standards.

We are in search of an electronic securityinstallationtechnician to join our fast growing and dynamic team.This position will train locally to the Exton region before starting to extensively travel to customer sites around the country.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

Installing And Maintaining

• Enterprise-level access control systems.
• Intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based.
• Enterprise-level video management systems (IP-based).
• Networking and IT knowledge.
• Superior problem solving and communication skills.
• Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
• Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.

Job Experience/Education

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
