You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure documents meet government and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Familiarity with industry-standard writing styles or government-specific guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand and translate technical information and concepts into clear documentation.
• Experience developing and maintaining POA&Ms or similar project plans.
• Familiarity with Agile or ITIL frameworks, as related to technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including full diagram schematics, manuals, and operational procedures.
• Develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management, workflows, and compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts.
• Ensure all documentation complies with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy and traceability.
• Maintain records of revisions and version control in documentation repositories.
