Job summary

OMNI Consulting Solutions, LLC seeks a skilled Technical Writer in Washington, DC, on-site, to support government programs. The role requires an Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.

You will create, edit, and manage technical documents, collaborating with program managers and customers to refine requirements and ensure high-quality outputs. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent federal writing experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 4 years of technical writing for the Federal Government.
• Education may be waived with 8+ years of relevant technical writing experience.
• 4+ years of demonstrated proficiency in writing and editing with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and edit technical materials including reports, manuals, briefs, specs, instruction books, catalogs, and publications.
• Produce documentation covering work methods, procedures, installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Draft a variety of technical articles, brochures, and manuals for multiple uses.
• Coordinate document design and graphics production with the customer.
• Proof, standardize, and edit documents for consistency, accuracy, and style guidelines.
