Job summary

DCCA, a veteran-owned IT business in Maryland, seeks a skilled Technical Writer to join our team. You will prepare, review, and maintain technical documents for software and systems engineering, operations, testing, and user documentation, collaborating with developers to produce high-quality materials.

You will write and edit content for the CMS Target Lifecycle, including requirements, help, training, and user guides, ensuring clarity for a broad audience and supporting program success.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience as a Technical Writer
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Experience with authoring accurate content (SOPs, high level presentations, knowledge base articles, user communications)

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation
• Write and edit technical documentation for related to the CMS Target Lifecycle to include documentation such as requirements, help, training, and user guides
• Work with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials
• Research highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers
• Provide expert oversight of technical writing and editing technical documentation for the Program, Project, or Contract
