Job summary

Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, seeks a Principal Technical Writer to lead creation and management of high-quality technical documentation across our software portfolio. You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and cross-functional teams to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly content.

You'll establish documentation standards, publishing processes, and content frameworks for new platforms, oversee quality and consistency of externally published

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of relevant technical writing experience.
• Experience developing end-user documentation for complex software applications.
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly content.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, editing, and maintenance of comprehensive product user guides, release notes, and other end-user technical documentation across Clario's software portfolio.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, project managers, and subject matter experts to translate complex product functionality into clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Establish and maintain documentation standards, publishing processes, and consistent content structures across multiple products and platforms.
• Manage cross-functional documentation initiatives, including publishing schedules, documentation rebranding, and the development of documentation frameworks for new product platforms.
• Oversee the quality, accuracy, consistency, and approval of externally published product documentation while implementing measurable processes for continuous improvement.
