Job summary

MicroHealth LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to produce clear, accurate government-focused documentation and proposal content. You will work with SMEs and engineers to translate IT solutions into compelling, compliant text across volumes, maintaining style and win themes.

You’ll own significant sections, review junior writers, and support post-submission responses while ensuring privacy and data handling compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of experience as a technical writer with government proposals/technical documentation.
• Ability to translate complex IT subject matter into clear, evaluator-friendly writing.
• Understanding of government solicitation structures (L/M, PWS/SOW) and compliance-driven writing.
• Strong editing and proofreading skills with attention to technical detail.
• Ability to manage multiple writing assignments under deadlines.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and finalize technical content for proposal volumes in response to government RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Interview with SMEs and engineers to capture and translate complex solutions into written content.
• Develop supporting technical documentation such as system descriptions and solution summaries.
• Build and maintain compliance matrices addressing L/M requirements.
• Manage writing and editing of assigned proposal sections against schedule.
