Job summary

MicroHealth, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to produce clear, accurate, and compliant documentation for federal, state, and local government RFP responses. You will own major proposal sections, partner with technical SMEs and engineers, and guide junior writers as needed.

You will draft technical approaches, solution architectures, staffing plans, and past performances, ensuring alignment with style guides and win themes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical writing experience for government proposals or technical documentation.
• Translate complex IT solutions into clear, evaluator-friendly writing.
• Strong understanding of government solicitation structures and compliance.
• Excellent editing and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and finalize technical content for proposal volumes in response to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
• Interview and collaborate with Technical SMEs and engineers to translate technical solutions.
• Develop system descriptions, process narratives, diagrams captions, and solution summaries.
• Build and maintain compliance matrices addressing Sections L and M requirements.
• Independently manage writing of assigned sections against the schedule; escalate risks.
• Ensure consistency of terminology, voice, and formatting per win themes and guides.
• Review content from junior writers or SMEs for clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support post-submission efforts including ENs, Clarifications, Discussions, and BAFOs.
• Handle sensitive data and AI usage restrictions appropriately; escalate questions.
