Job summary

Google is seeking a technical writer to craft clear, user-focused documentation across cybersecurity concepts. You will collaborate with product, engineering and UX to define requirements and drive documentation strategy, ensuring accessible, scalable content for developers and customers.

You will own writing and editing of references, online content, tutorials, and guides, shaping the user journey and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality documentation that speeds developer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience creating content for technical audiences.
Experience with UNIX/Linux CLI.

Responsibilities

Work with Product, Engineering, and UX to determine documentation requirements.
Lead content strategy and define workstreams focused on critical user journeys.
Write, publish, and maintain customer-facing documentation, including references, online content, in-app guides, and tutorials on cybersecurity concepts.
Define documentation requirements with teams and collaborate with engineers to create/update documentation sets.
Edit and improve documents written by engineers and other stakeholders.
