Job summary

Cisco Isovalent, now part of Cisco Hypershield, is seeking a senior Technical Writer to author and maintain enterprise documentation across security, networking, and cloud-native use cases. You will collaborate with engineers, solution architects, and product managers to translate complex concepts into clear and accurate content, spanning developer guides, user manuals, tutorials, and references.

This remote US role follows EST hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field with 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience leading documentation initiatives end-to-end with SME coordination.
• Experience with networking, security, or cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience producing user guides and enterprise documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical documentation for Hypershield and related technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product managers to translate complex concepts into clear content.
• Validate documentation against workflows and environments; identify gaps and improve content.
• Develop content for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
