Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking an experienced trainer to design and deliver engaging training programs for casino table systems. You will collaborate with instructional designers, SMEs, and stakeholders to improve product usability, lead live and virtual trainings, and stay aligned with new product developments across our gaming platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of dedicated training, teaching, or related experience.
• Experience with running queries in SQL.
• Casino operations and gaming experience a plus.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Position Summary

• Partner with instructional designers to create engaging training programs for table systems that enhance retention and transfer.
• Work with SME’s and identify training needs.
• Responsible for providing product feedback and working with key stakeholders to improve the functionality, usability, and serviceability of table systems products.
• Act as a liaison and represent the technical training team in new product reviews, builds, and approvals.
• Lead live in-person training and web-based training sessions for both internal and external clients.
• Research and apply emerging technology and concepts to educational initiatives.
• Ability to actively teach and support all training programs within the product lines via the above-mentioned delivery techniques, with minimal supervision.
• Partners with developers, SQA, and product management to stay informed of new products and services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience of dedicated training, teaching, or related experience.
• Experience with running queries in SQL.
• Casino operations and gaming experience a plus.
• Valid gaming card and/or the ability to obtain required jurisdictional licenses.
• Must be at least 21 years of age, as required by law.

Physical Requirements

While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, use hands, operate a computer, and have specific vision abilities to include close and distance vision as well as the ability to adjust focus working with computer and business equipment. Additionally, situations may require maintenance of products including opening and closing machine doors and lifting equipment such as roulette wheels.
