Job summary

Solve Industrial Motion Group seeks a Sr. Technical Trainer to design, develop, and deliver high-impact training for internal associates and external customers, strengthening technical knowledge and capabilities.

The ideal candidate collaborates with engineering, product management, sales and marketing to standardize processes and create scalable learning solutions, while documenting best practices and SOPs for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Education or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical training/ instructional design for internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to understand industrial products and solutions.
• Proficient with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Experience with LMS platforms, knowledge management platforms and digital learning tools.
• Experience creating SOPs, process maps, workflows and knowledge articles.
• Experience with ERP (Epicor P21) and CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Spiro).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver engaging technical training programs for associates, distributors and customers via in-person, virtual, and digital methods.
• Lead LMS implementation, administration, curriculum management, learner tracking and reporting.
• Develop a centralized knowledge management system for product, process, system, and operational knowledge.
• Conduct training needs assessments and create role-based learning paths.
• Measure training effectiveness with defined metrics and feedback to drive improvement.
• Support change initiatives with training, communication, and adoption plans.
