Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Training Specialist to assess training needs, develop materials, and deliver compressor training. You will coordinate requirements with Operations and align with employee growth and development.

The role reports to the Training Director and requires creating content, maintaining records in the Kodiak LMS, and traveling 50-75% to support field operations. Candidates should have deep oilfield knowledge and 5–10 years in gas compression training.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering technical training.
• Ability to translate complex compressor concepts into accessible material.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design training classes and develop content based on inputs from multiple functions.
• Stay updated with compressor technology and ESG-related updates.
• Serve as SME for compressor components and train diverse audiences.
• Identify training gaps and create targeted content.
• Collaborate with an instructional designer to tailor approaches for adult learners.
• Research and apply new training methods and techniques.
• Collect post-training feedback and update content accordingly.
• Develop assessments to verify knowledge transfer and skills.
• Maintain training completion records in the Kodiak LMS.
• Maintain and manage training equipment.
• Travel 50-75% of the time.
