Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Trainer to assess training needs, develop content, and deliver compressor technical training. The role reports to the Training Director and requires deep oilfield knowledge and hands-on teaching.

You will design classes, update materials for evolving compressor tech, track attendance, and assess knowledge transfer. Travel 50–75% and collaborate with an instructional designer to tailor approaches for adult learners.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of oilfield operations and compressor mechanics.
• Experience as a technical trainer in gas compression preferred.
• Proven ability to translate highly technical content into engaging learning materials.

Responsibilities

• Design training classes and develop content based on input from functions.
• Stay updated with compressor technology and regulatory changes.
• Serve as SME for compressor package components.
• Identify training gaps and create targeted content.
• Collaborate with instructional designer to tailor methods for adult learners.
• Incorporate hands-on activities and validate learning outcomes.
• Collect post-training feedback and update content accordingly.
• Develop assessments to ensure knowledge transfer and competency.
• Maintain training participation and grading records in the LMS.
• Manage training equipment and scheduling.
• Travel 50-75% as required.
