He/she will coordinate training requirements based on needs identified through the Operations department and goals aligned with employee growth and development. Proven ability to complete a full training cycle, from assessing technical skill gaps to developing, delivering, and evaluating technical class content to address the gap.The role reports into the Training Director.Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Design training classes and develop training content based on input from various functions- Stay up to date with changing compressor technology, including electrical updates, panel updates, and any mechanical updates due to changing ESG regulations and Kodiak initiatives- Subject matter expert for specific compressor package components- Identify technical training gaps throughout organization and develop content to address gaps- Work alongside an instructional designer to determine the best approaches for each technical training class, accounting for the intended audience to ensure adult learning methods are integrated and hands-on class activities validate learning- Stay up to date on new training methods and proactively research teaching techniques- Attain post-training feedback for review and update class content accordingly- Develop technical assessments to ensure successful knowledge transfer and skill competency for each training class objective.- Maintain the completion records for training participants, by ensuring timely and accurate attendance and grading records are maintained within the Kodiak LMS- Maintain and manage training equipment- Travel required 50-75% of the timeEducation, Experience and Training- This role requires in-depth knowledge of the oilfield and all aspects of compressor mechanics.
