Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services LLC is seeking a Training Specialist to assess needs, develop training materials, and deliver technical compressor training. The role coordinates training requirements based on inputs from Operations and goals aligned with employee growth and development.

Proven ability to complete a full training cycle is essential. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in gas compression operations, strong instructional design and presentation skills, and experience with e-Learning and LMS.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the oilfield and compressor mechanics.
• 5-10 years of experience in Operations of the gas compression industry.
• Experience with e-Learning and learning management systems.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Leadership and mentor skills.
• Ability to adapt to various learning styles, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design training classes and develop training content based on input from various functions.
• Stay up to date with changing compressor technology, including electrical updates, panel updates, and any mechanical updates due to ESG regulations and Kodiak initiatives.
• Subject matter expert for specific compressor package components.
• Identify technical training gaps throughout organization and develop content to address gaps.
• Work alongside an instructional designer to determine the best approaches for each technical training class, accounting for the audience and hands-on activities.
• Attain post-training feedback and update class content accordingly.
• Develop technical assessments to ensure knowledge transfer and skill competency.
• Maintain completion records for training participants in the Kodiak LMS.
• Maintain and manage training equipment.
• Travel required 50-75% of the time.
