MAGMAS is seeking an experienced Technical Systems Engineer to join our high-tech managed IT services team. The role covers technical support, infrastructure maintenance, and hands-on work at client sites, requiring ownership of issues from detection to resolution.

You will work across Windows/Mac environments, Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and network fundamentals, liaising with customers and partners to ensure service levels are met and documentation kept up to date.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a relevant IT role.
• Knowledge of Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 apps and cloud services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) mandatory.
• Experience with Intune, RMM and phone systems.
• Networking basics: routers, switches, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs.
• Ability to coordinate with external partners.
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, group policy and security config.
• Azure administration and implementation.
• Windows 10/11 and Mac environments.
• Imaging and deployment requirements.
• Strong customer service and communication.
• Independent problem solving; able to work in a team or solo.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a technical contact for customers and provide effective solutions to IT requirements.
• Attend customer premises to diagnose faults and perform repairs and maintenance.
• Manage support cases and service requests via Service Desk platform.
• Keep customers informed during the support process per SLAs.
• Escalate major incidents requiring management involvement.
• Review daily priorities and manage workload to complete actions.
• Monitor customer environments to ensure business requirements are met.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and repair hardware and software.
• Keep technical records, tickets and documentation up to date.
• Take ownership of urgent incidents, remotely or on-site.
