Job summary

The Global Systems Support Administrator will oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure administration across on-premises and cloud environments to ensure stability, security, and reliability of core systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Windows server support or systems administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as Nutanix, VMware, or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VPNs, wireless networking, and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and cloud services.
• Perform routine system maintenance, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support backup and recovery processes and assist with disaster recovery testing activities.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Assist with administration of firewalls, VPN connectivity, wireless networks, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor system health and respond to infrastructure alerts and service disruptions.
• Troubleshoot server, network, identity, and cloud-related issues and escalation complex problems when necessary.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and asset inventories.
• Support infrastructure projects, upgrades, and system implementations.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and guidance to the Service Desk and end users.
