Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to ensure Premium and Elite customers receive high-quality technical support across installations, startups, and operations. You will troubleshoot software issues, document customer information, and contribute to product quality programs.

Role involves collaboration with R&D, Product Managers, and Systems Integrators, with some international travel and hybrid/onsite work in the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
• Experience with Visual Studio and programming in Python or C#.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database.

Responsibilities

• Cover the phone queue during normal business hours (Pacific Time) 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Reproduce customer issues and document resolutions in CRM.
• Serve as technical lead and mentor for less-experienced staff.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Participate in events and product demonstrations (AVEVA World, etc.).
• Potential on-call after-hours support with additional compensation.
