Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Engineer I, Technical Customer Care in Foxboro, MA. You will act as a senior technical authority across DCS hardware, software, and networking, leading high-impact issue resolutions and developing advanced troubleshooting strategies.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with engineering teams on product readiness, and drive continuous improvement through technical leadership and cross-functional partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years in process control, industrial automation, DCS/SCADA, or related environments.
• Experience leading resolution of critical technical issues and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Serves as senior technical authority for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Leads investigation and resolution of complex customer issues with root-cause analysis.
• Develops troubleshooting methodologies and corrective actions to reduce recurring issues.
• Provides expert-level technical support via phone, email, and remote collaboration.
• Acts as primary technical escalation point for support engineers and system integrators.
• Mentors junior engineers to promote technical excellence.
