Job summary

Sentry is seeking a veteran Support Engineer to architect the Technical Support engine, blending deep debugging with autonomous systems to deliver high-caliber resolutions at scale. You will perform root-cause analysis, guide senior engineers at enterprise customers, and shape AI-enabled support workflows with a clear human-in-the-loop path for complex questions.

You'll collaborate across GitHub, Discord, and internal tools, acting as a bridge between developers and product teams to prioritize

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in technical support engineering, systems engineering, or software development.
• Strong coding foundations in Python, JavaScript, Java, or Ruby.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and frontend-to-database paths.
• AI & automation literacy with LLM orchestration concepts.
• Exceptional communication for explaining architecture and writing AI system instructions.

Responsibilities

• Master the Sentry ecosystem and support elite developers.
• Perform root-cause analysis on complex issues and tracing gaps.
• Troubleshoot SDK implementations and instrument complex frameworks.
• Bridge between developers and product teams to prioritize high-impact fixes.
