Job summary
Sentry is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the AI-assisted coding domain. You will audit internal developer systems, expose them via APIs, and build the connections that let AI agents operate end-to-end in our repo.
This broad role spans harness engineering, context systems, and PR quality tooling, with collaboration across every product team. You’ll drive cross-team initiatives, improve CI/CD, and reduce toil while shipping high-value AI-enabled workflows.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience building tools or workflows that improve developer productivity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to leadership.
- Genuine curiosity about AI coding tools and agents; ML experience not required.
Responsibilities
- Audit internal developer systems and make them API-ready for AI agents.
- Build harness tooling, context systems, and feedback loops for PR quality.
- Collaborate across Platform Engineering and dev infra to enable tooling.
- Lead cross-team technical initiatives to completion.
- Identify friction and drive organizational improvements with leadership buy-in.
