Mesilla Valley Transportation in El Paso, TX is seeking a Senior Technical Support Analyst to deliver tiered IT support for a wide range of customer issues and environments. The role requires strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to knowledge sharing, and participate in training while adhering to ITIL practices and Change Management processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in IT or related field is required or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years in a technical support role or related field
• Basic certifications (A+, CCNA, Network+) are preferred
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and change management processes

Responsibilities

• Represent the technical support team in cross-functional meetings and projects
• Handle the most complex and critical technical issues
• Advise on complex issues not resolved by junior levels
• Act as a subject matter expert for specialized technical areas
• Develop and implement advanced troubleshooting techniques and solutions
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for technical support teams and end-users
• Escalate critical issues and provide hands-on assistance when necessary
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for providing support to a wide variety of customer
types and situations. Progressive levels of responsibility within the role will necessitate a more proactive
approach to prevent future issues and fostering customer education.

Responsibilities:

Represent the technical support team in cross-functional meetings and projects.

• Handle the most complex and critical technical issues.
• Advise on more complex technical issues that Analys I & II cannot resolve, as needed.
• Act as a subject matter expert for specialized technical areas within the organization.
• Develop and implement advanced troubleshooting techniques and solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for technical support teams and end-users.
• Act as a point of escalation for critical issues and provide hands‑on assistance when necessary.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency
  and effectiveness.
• Works with IT leadership to run the Change Management System

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in IT related field (Preferred).
• Two years of relevant experience (Required). An equivalent combination of
  education and experience will also be considered.
• Basic certifications (Preferred) - A+, CCNA, Network+.
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework.
